Having been a real estate broker in the Binghamton, N Y area, I decided to start anew after we moved to Daytona Beach Shores in 1997. That meant finding a top company in the area to place my new credentials in the State of Florida. The research led to Watson Realty Corp., where I have been happily working since then. I have had first hand experience of living in a condo in "the Shores," a golf community in Port Orange, and another golf community in Ormond Beach. I enjoyed each experience and it has given me an understanding of the various communities in the greater Daytona Beach area. Also, before settling in Florida, my husband and I sold our house in Endwell, NY and moved onto our boat with an eye towards finding the best place to live in the southern part of the U.S. Having combed the Eastern coast from North Carolina to Florida, we finally settled in Florida. The day we awoke to snow on the dock in North Carolina made us realize that North Carolina was not far enough south, as many other boaters along the way had told us. A friend who lives in a golf community in Daytona Beach showed us around and showed us the oceanfront condo market, which was substantially more reasonably priced and newer than other parts of the South. Someone asked me last week when I might think of retiring. My answer was "as soon as I don't love what I'm doing anymore." I have been selling real estate for over 25 years and have taken many courses along the way, but the best recommendation always comes from my many past satisfied customers. I look forward to helping many future customers and clients to find their dream home or investment property.
